Former Student Gives Back to EBMS
For a senior project about traditions and heritage, Josh H. decided to return to EBMS to spruce up the nature trail that he and his classmates landscaped and created back in 2006. Under the supervision of Mrs. Jackie Clark, 8th grade Science teacher, Josh and his fellow students worked hard to develop a trail that others could enjoy. As with any outdoor area intended for fun and recreation, this trail needs routine maintenance. Normally, EBMS has someone from the county come out to weed-eat and spray for poison ivy in the summer. Because of cutbacks in the school budget, no funds were available this year to care for the nature trail. Since the trail needed some some cleanup and Josh wanted to help EBMS, the decision was made to accept his generous offer to get rid of all the overgrown weeds and debris. Not only did he clean the nature trail, he made a second trip back to EBMS to help current students brighten it up by planting flowers. Thank you, Josh, for helping EBMS and being such a positive role model for our students!
