NORTH CAROLINA WAX MUSEUM: Fourth graders in
Mrs. Acord's class at Salem have been studying famous North Carolinians. After writing research papers and creating virtual museums, students
opened the North Carolina Wax Museum to over 100 parents,
administrators, and students. The students were wax figures who
"came to life" with the flip of a switch. Each student
displayed artifacts and taught others about their famous North
Carolinian. Special thanks to Debbie Kiracofe and Becky Chappell for
their help with the project.
