Burke County Public Schools sent 20 science projects to Regional Science Fair competition at ASU yesterday, December 15.  The students competed in 7 categories with over 100 total junior division projects. Our region is the largest in the state and with that being said, it was extremely competitive in category. Only the top 2 places advance. If one of these can not attend, then the 3rd place winner may go.

We also had a student to compete in a separate afternoon competition, the North Carolina Student Academy of Science. This student will be competing at the state level.

Please help me congratulate these winners! I am very proud of all our students who competed at the regional fair.  Thank you for your continued support for Burke County Continental Science Fair.
