A Burke United Christian Ministries food grant benefits families in three Burke County Public Schools communities. A BUCM food truck rotates weekly between Chesterfield, Hildebran and Ray Childers elementary schools, allowing families to drive up and receive grocery items. Burke County Public Schools Superintendent Larry Putnam said, “Congratulations to Burke United Christian Ministries on receiving this grant to assist the community. They are a great partner, and we appreciate their generosity and them sharing this food with our students and their families.”
