PROM TICKET INFORMATION

Juniors and Seniors can purchase tickets for yourself and one guest . See page 25 of The Plume for eligibility requirements. 

Guests can be Freshmen or Sophomores at any high school or can be up to 22 years old.  Guests who are Freshmen or Sophomores at EBHS or who do not attend EBHS must be approved by administration prior to purchasing a ticket. 

Guest forms will be available at the front office desk.

TICKETS WILL BE ON SALE

APRIL 18-26

AND WILL BE $25 EACH. 

Entry to Prom:
Students will be required to check in upon arrival and show a photo ID in order to be admitted to Prom. Students must be in attendance all day on Friday, April 27th to be eligible to attend Prom.  No one will be admitted who has consumed alcohol (even persons who are of legal drinking age) - this is a high school event!  If any individual leaves the building, they will not be allowed to return.

Proper Attire for Prom:
This is a formal event and formal attire is required - suits and ties or tuxedoes for men and long or short formal wear for ladies.  Clothing should be tasteful, appropriate for a high school function and not excessively revealing.  Absolutely no tennis shoes, jeans, ball caps, or sunglasses will be allowed.

Prom King and Queen​

We will have the crowning of Prom King and Queen at 11 p.m. on Prom Night.  Voting will be held at Prom and any Senior who attends Prom will be eligible.  (See page 25 of The Plume). Voting will end at 10 p.m. in order to count votes. 

​Parking at the Metro Center

There will two events held at the Hickory Metro Center on April 28th.  East Burke High School Prom will be on the left end of the Metro Center as you are facing the building from the road.  Make plans to come early for good parking!
