Forest Hill Elementary School welcomed children’s author-
Mr. Lester Laminack- to our campus on Friday, February 17, 2012. In preparation for his visit, all of the
students at Forest Hill wrote and illustrated their own books. The “Young Authors’ Day” celebration focused
on showcasing the students and their published works. In addition to Mr. Laminack, many community
volunteers joined the children for their special day. All of the students were given an opportunity
to read their books to an adult facilitator.
It was a wonderful day for everyone involved!
