Construction Class works with Burke Hospice
Page Content
Freedom
High School
students, under the direction of Construction teacher John Hewat, work at Burke Hospice and Palliative Care in Valdese. Burke Hospice is a true Partner in Education with Freedom in that they do many things for Freedom, and Freedom does many things for them. Students constructed a new sidewalk (railings added after this photo) to the gazebo where Mr. John Hewat stands between Linda Morgan, Hospice Volunteer Coordinator, and Hospice Community Coordinator, Dianne Hennessee, with a plaque commemorating the work of the students.
