David Fletcher - NC Soccer Coach of the Year

Freedom High School Soccer Coach, David Fletcher, was recently named the State 3AAA High School Soccer Coach of the Year. Coach Fletcher’s soccer teams are regulars in the state playoffs, and he is involved in the lives of his players beyond the playing field as he teaches character, sportsmanship, and loyalty. He also established a soccer tournament to raise funds to endow a scholarship in the name of Katherine Wilson, a member of the first Freedom Girls’ Soccer Program in 1993, 1994, and 1995.
