10th grade advisement students are actively planning and preparing for the future! This year's activities include work with the CFNC (College Foundation North Carolina) websites, career guest presentations, and NWAHEC - a Wake Forest University Health Career Program designed for high school students and much more. On Tuesday, May 24th advisement students had the opportunity to participate in a “College Fair” and chat with recruiters from area colleges and universities about educational programs offered related to their career interests. Post-secondary schools represented at this event included: Lees-McRae, Lenoir Rhyne University, Western Carolina University, Appalachian State University, NC A&T University, McDowell Technical College and their School of Cosmetology, Western Piedmont Community College, Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute along with their Truck Driving School.
