On November 11, 2011, Cub Scout Pack 788 dedicated their time and efforts to help beautify our school sign. With the help of Zip’s Landscape Service, the bushes surrounding the sign were trimmed and the scouts removed all the debris. The pack planted new bushes to accent the older ones; planted spring bulbs and pansies for a little added color during the winter months. They added a fresh coat of mulch to spruce up the area around the sign and the flag pole as well. The cub scouts also worked in the flower bed at the auditorium entrance by cleaning out the weeds, planting a few perennials for the upcoming spring, and putting out a new layer of mulch in the area. Watch out though, as the days begin to warm up and spring starts to fill the air, you may just find a few new sprouts of green popping up around the sign!
