·         The body of the paper should be typed using size 12 font and double spaced.  Appropriate fonts are Times New Roman, Garamond, or Arial.  Use only black ink to print.
 
·         Plagiarism is a serious offense and will not be tolerated.  Make sure you restate all of the information in your own words.  If you use a quotation from a particular source, make sure you reference that source within the body of the paper.
 
·         You must have a minimum of 3 sources for this paper.  At least ONE MUST be a print source, from a book, magazine, or newspaper. Wikipedia is not a valid research source and should not be used for this project.
 
·         Sources are cited on the Bibliography page using MLA format.  You may choose to use an online source to properly format your citations.
 
  Thesis Sentence Ideas:
Person:  childhood, accomplishments, college career, professional career, interesting facts  (choose 3)
Place: location, imports/exports, tourist attractions, physical features, population/people, crops (choose 3)
Event: background information, what happened, why it happened, what was the effect of this event (choose 3)
Remember you must have enough information for each topic you choose to write an interesting paragraph with lots of detail!
