Three Patton High School students have received very prestigious awards/recognitions recently. Haley P. was chosen as the winner of the 9th-12th grade Christopher Columbus Essay Writing contest sponsored by the Daughters of the American Revolution. Vicenta L. was the recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award, recognizing Americans of all ages who have volunteered significant amounts of their time serving their communities and their countries. Emily S. has received notification that she is a National Merit Scholarship finalist. Of the 1.5 million entrants only 15,000 students are identified as qualifying for this prestigious recognition. We congratulate all three of these great Panthers!!!
