Before and After School Program

Daycare is available on workdays and holidays. Please note that a two (2) week notice is required.

• We provide a safe and nurturing environment that is enjoyable for all children.  Our program promotes self-esteem, teaches life skills, and supports the value of educational experiences for the school-aged child.

Certified by the NC Department of Health and Human Services Division of Child Development 

• This license allows Rutherford College Child Care to accept Department of Social Services payment assistance or “vouchers.” You can contact the Burke County DSS at (828) 439-2000 to see if you qualify! We also accept payment from other local agencies that assist in child care expenses.

Summer Care

• During the summer months camp is an exciting time for the children. Camp provides assurance to parents that their child will have an active and safe summer.  Local daily trips and weekly longer trips will be provided in order to broaden the children’s knowledge and experiences.

Child Care Rates and Hours of Operation

• A non-refundable registration fee of $25 per child is due at each fall and summer camp enrollment. This fee is used to purchase needed supplies at the beginning of each term.  Our program is supported entirely by parent fees.

  After-school 2:25 PM – 5:45 PM	$29.00/week
  Before & After-school (hours as above)	$34.00/week
  Workdays/Vacation Days 6:00 AM – 5:45 PM	$13.00/day
  Early Dismissal Days	$5.00 in addition to weekly fee
  Summer Camp	$66.00/week
