Yesterday, kindergarten students in Ms. Proffitt's class at Rutherford College Elementary prepared a Thanksgiving feast. They learned how the pilgrims prepared their food for the first Thanksgiving. Students learned how to break and string green beans, peel potatoes, and shuck corn. Today, they will get to enjoy the fruits of their labor! Everyone will sit down and eat their feast of veggies and smoked turkey!
