Adalynn T. from Valdese Elementary was awarded second place with the science fair project titled “Making Plants Grow.”

Zoey T. from Icard Elementary was awarded third place for the project titled “Which Brand Pops the Best.”

Will L. from from Icard Elementary was awarded fourth place for the science fair project titled “Paper in Flight.”

BCPS Superintendent Dr. Mike Swan said, “It was so encouraging to see so many of our students engaged in projects that help them not only in learning about science, but also in problem solving, critical thinking and teamwork. We are proud of each student and congratulate them on their hard work. We can’t forget about the teachers and parents who came alongside them to guide and lead throughout the whole process. Great job to all!”
