As the BCPS Coordinator of MTSS and PK-12th Student Success, my mission is to support schools in successful implementation of the MTSS framework.
Burke County is my home. I attended BCPS, taught science at East Burke Middle and Freedom High School, and have served as principal at W.A. Young Elementary, Mountain View Elementary, Glen Alpine Elementary, and Table Rock Middle School.
My favorite pastime is to spend time outside exploring the beautiful NC mountains with my husband, Eric, and our three children.

What is MTSS?

MTSS is a multi-tiered framework which promotes school improvement through engaging, research-based academic and behavioral practices.  NC MTSS employs a systems approach using data-driven problem solving to maximize growth for all. (NCDPI)
