  • If, however, a schedule conflict prevents a student from taking a course at their school, the course can be taken through an online vendor.
  • During the school year, up to three online courses can be taken in a semester. The course may require the student purchase a textbook.
  • If a student fails an online course, the student will not be allowed to take another online course for one semester AND the student will receive a F in the course.
  • Middle School students (including rising ninth graders) may take these NCVPS courses: Success 101, Science, Social Studies, Math, and Foreign Languages.

Please click on the provider names above and in the left navigation to familiarize yourself with each provider to help determine which program best meets your academic need.

  • Organization and self-discipline is vital for success. YOU are responsible for managing your time, resources and meeting deadlines when taking an online course.
