Summer Meals Program

The BCPS Summer Meals program is happening now, serving free lunch to children 18 and under!


Stop by Valdese Elementary cafeteria or Mountain View Elementary cafeteria from 11 a.m. to 1p.m. for a free, filling lunch. The two cafeteria sites are open Monday through Thursday each week excluding July 1-5. Adults over 18 can get an entree for $4.


Additionally, the M.E.A.L. Mobile food truck makes 30-minute stops around Morganton each Monday through Thursday serving free lunch to anyone 18 and under. View the weekly schedule here:


Forest Hill Elementary: 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Hillcrest Elementary: 11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
Martha’s Park: 12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.


All lunch spots are open to the public, so children do not have to be BCPS students to enjoy- just
