Traditional Kindergarten Enrollment Information
Will your child be five years old on or before August 31st? If so, it is time to register your child for Kindergarten.

Which district should I register? Click here to enter your address to determine which Burke County School district you live in.

Transfer Information: All students must register in their home district. However if you are interested in applying for a transfer to a different district, please complete this form (will be available April 1st - May 13th.). Once the transfer is approved, records will be transferred from the home district to the school in which the transfer was requested.

Enrollment Information: Click here to complete the Google Form for Kindergarten Registration. Once the form is complete, someone from your child’s home school will be contacting you to collect more information and schedule a DIAL screening appointment.

What information will I need to enroll? To complete your kindergarten registration, you will need proof of age (birth certificate or other), three proofs of residency, and completed registration form.

DIAL Screening Students entering kindergarten are given a short assessment prior to entry. Click Here to find out when your child’s school will be conducting DIAL screenings.
